Zoë Sky Bieman

After a life filled with determination to care for other people, animals, and the earth, Zoë Sky Bieman’s life ended suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 at the age of 20. 

Zoë was the cherished daughter of Lisa (Reitzel) and Adam Bieman, Blyth and the little sister and best friend of Virginia Bieman (Brandon Bowslaugh), Hamilton. She was the adored granddaughter of Brian and Barbara (McDougall) Reitzel, Sauble Beach and David and Helen Bieman, Bayfield. Zoë was the loved niece of Clare Reitzel and Lani Martel, Bromont, Quebec and Erin and Aaron Ward, Witless Bay, Newfoundland. 

She will be missed dearly by her boyfriend Adam Jan Sapa. Zoë has left a hole in the hearts of her cousins and many friends. 

Passionate about health care, music and a dedicated vegan, Zoë was enjoying her experiences and studies at McMaster University in Hamilton. Her dream was to help those in need through gerontology. 

A celebration of her life will take place with her family and closest friends in the coming days. If desired, memorial donations to Adopt-A-Pet Lucknow, Blue Water Rest Home, Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre, or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family. Haskett Funeral Home, Zurich was entrusted with arrangements.
