Yvonne Patricia Dow

Yvonne Patricia Dow of Blyth, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 after a lengthy struggle with brain cancer. She was 62.

Yvonne was the beloved wife of Pastor Ernest Dow and dear mother of Emily Wierenga (Trenton), Keith Dow (Darcie), Allison Tubbesing (Philipp), and Meredith Mpinga (Davies). She was the cherished grandmother of Adonijah, Malachi, Eliana, Micah, Isaiah, Lucy, Charity, Aiden, Kasher, Aria, Evelyn and Sophia and loving daughter of Roy Anderson and the late Joan Anderson. Yvonne was the dear sister of Peter Anderson (Roxanne) and dear sister-in-law of David Dow (Paulette) and Marion Dow.

Yvonne was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Norman and Winnifred Dow and brother-in-law Dennis Dow.

Yvonne was a homeschooling mother who devoted her time to worshipping her Lord and Saviour, and caring for her husband, children, church and flower gardens. She will be greatly missed.

Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Sunday, July 15 and Monday, July 16 at Huron Chapel EMC,  Auburn until the funeral service that followed at 11 a.m. Pastor Mark Royall officiated, assisted by Pastor Larry Skinner. A reception  followed in the church hall. Interment was at Roy’s Cemetery, West Perth.
