Ula Jean Richmond

Ula Jean Richmond, Wingham and formerly of Blyth, passed away at Braemar Nursing Home, Wingham on Monday, March 5, 2018. She was in her 77th year.

Ula was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Richmond (2014) and loving mother of Karen Stewart, Blyth; Sherry Richmond, Windsor; Darren and Michelle Richmond, Blyth and the late Gary Richmond (1997). She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Aaron Richmond, Krista (John Rutledge), Christopher Stewart (Cindy Carter), Cole Stewart, Dalton Richmond and Carson Richmond. Ula was the great-grandmother of Jordan and Spencer and sister and sister-in-law of Iona and Bob Solohub, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Ian and Margaret Griffiths, Windsor; Gwilym and Gwen Griffiths, Sarnia and Olwen and Keith Richmond, Goderich. 

At Ula’s request there will be no funeral service or visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment of ashes will take place at Blyth Union Cemetery in the spring. 

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation or the Blyth Lions Club would be appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to the Falconer Funeral Homes, Blyth Chapel.
