Two Huron Heat teams heading to Waterloo Fall Challenge Cup this weekend

This weekend, the U11 A and U13 A Huron Heat teams will head east to take part in the Waterloo Fall Challenge Cup, beginning with action on Friday morning.
The U11 A team will open tournament play with a game against the Woolwich Wild on Friday morning, followed by an afternoon game with the Lambeth Lancers. The U13 A team, on Friday, will first face the Grand River Mustangs, followed by a game with the Napanee Crunch.
On Saturday, the U11 A team will play the Brampton Canadettes and the U13 A team will play the Toronto Leaside Wildcats as both teams will be fighting for a chance to keep playing later into the day and even in the championship bracket on Sunday.
In regular season action this weekend, the U11 HL Heat will play the West Oxford Inferno at the Blyth arena on Friday, Nov. 1 - the same night that the U13 HL team will welcome the St. Thomas Panthers to Seaforth.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, the U9 B Heat will play the Cambridge Roadrunners and the U9 C team will play the Ilderton Jets, both in Seaforth, while the U15 A Heat will play the Devilettes in London.
The U9 HL team will also play the Ilderton Jets in Seaforth, the U13 C Heat will play the St. Marys Rock in Blyth, the U11 C Heat will welcome the Woodstock Wildcats to Seaforth and the U15 B Heat will play the Saugeen Shores Storm on the road in Southampton.
There is a full slate of action scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 3. The U9 B Heat will play the Woolwich Wild and the U15 B Heat will play the Mount Forest Rams, both in Clinton, while the U9 C and U11 HL Heat teams will both be on the road in Lucan to play their respective Irish teams.
The U13 B Heat will play the Walkerton Capitals in Brussels, the U13 HL team will play the Bluewater Hawks on the road, the Senior team will play the Lucknow/Wingham 86ers in Hensall, the U15 C Heat will play Lucan/South Huron on the road and the U18 C Heat will play the Central Perth Predators, also on the road.
On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the U11 A Heat will play the Panthers in St. Thomas while, the next night, the U18 C Heat will play the South Huron Sabres in Blyth and the U15 C heat will play the St. Marys Rock in Brussels.
Looking back at the week that was, on Sunday, Oct. 27, the U15 C Heat tied the Stratford Aces at one on the road, while the U15 B Heat beat the Walkerton Capitals by a score of 1-0 and the U15 A Heat tied the Chatham Crush at two, both in Clinton.
The U13 A Heat lost to the Bluewater Hawks on the road by a score of 1-0, as did the U11 C Heat to the Woodstock Wildcats by a score of 3-2, also on the road.
The U13 HL Heat fared better at home in Brussels, beating Ilderton/Lucan in Brussels by a score of 4-0, while the U18 BB Heat lost to the Ayr Rockets on the road by a score of 3-2.
The Senior C team also played that night at the Brussels arena, but a score for that game was unavailable at press time.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, the U13 B Heat and the Walkerton Capitals ended their game in Walkerton tied at four, while the U11 C Heat beat the Tillsonburg Lightning in Seaforth by a score of 7-0 and the U15 B Heat beat South Huron/Lucan on the road by a score of 5-2.
The U11 HL Heat beat the Ilderton Jets in Seaforth by a score of 3-1 and the U13 A Heat won its exhibition game against the Devilettes in London by a score of 5-1. The U15 C Heat ended their road game with the St. Marys Rock in a scoreless tie, while the U11 A Heat lost to the Lambeth Lancers on the road by a score of 3-0 and the U15 A Heat lost to the Panthers in St. Thomas by a score of 7-2.
Also that day, the Senior team played the Kitchener Lady Rangers on the road, but a score for that game was unavailable at press time, and the U9 C and HL teams played two South Huron Sabres teams in Seaforth, but scores were not kept for those games.
On Oct. 23, the U13 C Heat beat the St. Marys Rock by the slimmest of margins on the road, winning by a score of 1-0.
On Oct. 29, the U9 B Heat played an exhibition game with the London Devilettes on the road and the U15 C Heat played a regular season game with the Mitchell Meteors, also on the road, but scores for those games were not available at press time.
