Tom Armstrong 

Tom Armstrong of Wingham passed away at Braemar Nursing Home on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022. He was 90.

 

Tom was the beloved husband of the late Joan Armstrong who predeceased him in 2020; the cherished father of Marion and Roy Taylor, RR 2, Auburn; Marlene and Merv Baker, Wingham; Noreen Walker, Wingham; Terry and Sheila Armstrong, RR 1, Lucknow, and Jeff and Donna Armstrong, RR 4, Clinton and the loving grandpa of 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother-in-law of Stan and Barb Hiseler, Bracebridge. 

 

Tom was predeceased by his parents Mark and Ellen (née Thompson) Armstrong, great-granddaughter Amanda Hardy, sisters Mary Taylor and her husband Jack, Donna Craig and her husband Mel, and sister-in-law Eleanor Hiseler.

 

A graveside service and celebration of Tom’s life will be held in the spring. His final resting place will be at the Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Huron Hospice, Clinton would be appreciated.
