Sharlene (Shoemaker) Brown

Sharlene (Shoemaker) Brown, Brucefield, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016. She was in her 74th year.
Sharlene is survived by her partner Walter James Brown. She was the beloved mother of Nancy and Brian Buckley, Listowel; Dave Stephens, Mount Forest; Jim Brown and Alana McDonald, Vanastra; Marg Mason and Michael Lebold, Clinton; Ruth Anne and Dave Cardona, Middlebury, Connecticut and Bob Brown and Tracy McIntosh, Exeter. Sharlene will be missed by 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was the dear sister of Dennis and Eleanor Shoemaker, Mildmay. She was predeceased by her parents Melvin and Wanda Shoemaker, partner Harold Ellacott, son Raymond Shoemaker and brother Orlin (Carol) Shoemaker.
At Sharlene’s request cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Elimville Cemetery on Friday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
