Ruth Ann (nee Engler) Shiell 

Ruth Ann Shiell (nee Engler) of Blyth, beloved wife of the late Thomas Shiell, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015. She was in her 98th year.

Ruth leaves to mourn her passing, a son Lloyd (Diane) Shiell, daughters Lois (Paul) Graham, Connie Shiell, Terri Oppenhauser, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Shiell, son-in-law Shane Clement, sister Leona Doersken, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Ruth was predeceased by a son Jamie, a daughter Jean, three sisters and two brothers.

Ruth spent her life caring for others.

The visitation and funeral service was held at Falconer Funeral Homes – Blyth Chapel on Friday, May 22. Interment was in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or Huronview Home for the Aged would be greatly appreciated.
