Robert Michael Wilhelm

Robert Michael Wilhelm of Listowel passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in his 66th year.

 

The husband of Anna (Bratziw) Wilhelm, Robert was the father of Joshua and Katrina Wilhelm of Mindemoya, and Stephanie and Luke Siertsema of Blyth. He was the brother of Linda and Bob Russell of Sauble Beach. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eileen (Otto) Wilhelm, and brother Larry Wilhelm and his wife Donna.

 

Rob was born in Kitchener on Jan. 7, 1958. He married Anna Bratziw on Oct. 21, 1989 and loved her deeply. He was blessed with two children, Joshua and Stephanie, whom he loved and was very proud of. 

 

Rob had a contagious love of nature and animals and instilled this love in his children. He particularly enjoyed fishing, spending time with family at Sauble Beach, and playing cards.  

 

Rob was a man of few words, but when he spoke, it came from the heart. He was extraordinarily patient, generous, gentle and kind. He was also a man of deep faith, who prayed daily for others. We take comfort knowing Rob is at peace in the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

 

Visitation will be held at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church on Friday, June 23 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

 

Memorial donations to Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
