Robert Donald McClinchey

Mr. Robert Donald McClinchey, Blyth passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Friday, June 30, 2017. He was in his 92nd year.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Hollyman) McClinchey (2008) and the loving father of Patricia Brigham and Wayne and Dorothy McClinchey, all of Blyth. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Gregory (Julie), Jennifer, Mary (Denise Keatley), Kendra (Darrell Yule), Gordon and great-grandchildren Mieka and Koby.

Robert was the dear brother of Bill (Joanne) McClinchey, Jewel Plunkett, Norman (Lila) McClinchey, Dave McClinchey and John (Maureen) McClinchey. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Lillian (Anderson) McClinchey and sister Eileen Haggitt.

Robert will be missed for his smile and his fiddle playing.

Friends are invited to the Falconer Funeral Homes, Blyth Chapel for visitation on Friday, July 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Blyth Union Cemetery.

Donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital, Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or the Blyth Arena Living Tree  Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
