Richard Campeau

Richard Campeau of Wingham, passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Monday, March 25, 2019. He was 83.

Richard was the beloved husband of Sally (Slosser) Campeau of Wingham and the cherished dad of Rachelle and Brad Gerrie, Wingham and Natalie and Patrick Vandenberg, RR3, Walkerton.He was the dear pépé of Brigitte and Justin Wagner, Alex Gerrie and Connor Gerrie, Cosette Vandenberg, Joseph Vandenberg and Matthew Vandenberg. 

Richard was the cherished brother of Ruth Anne Bourdeau and Jane Shannon and the brother-in-law of Gloria Campeau, David and Alice Slosser, Nancy and Joe Boll, Jane Richard and Connie and Dave Hudder. He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Dora (Cochois) Campeau, brothers Leonard and Bernard Campeau and sisters Josephine Drouillard, Bernice Digou and Doris Morneau and parents-in-law Leander and Isabel Slosser.

Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday including a vigil prayer service.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Father K.P. Morrison will officiate. Interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the Wingham & District Right to Life would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
