Rebecca Kipfer-Pryce
A long and courageous battle with cancer could not dim her infectious smile. Now that beautiful smile will live on in the memories of all who love her, as Rebecca passed away peacefully at her home, in the loving embrace of her family on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017. Born in Stratford on Oct. 9, 2007, Rebecca Jenny Lynda Kipfer-Pryce of Winthrop was nine years old.
Rebecca was the cherished daughter of Karen and Dwayne and adored sister of Drew, Alysha (Rebecca’s second mom), Brittany, Courtney, Ryan, Anthony, Kyle and Darcy. Rebecca was the loving granddaughter of Hessie Kipfer (and the late David Kipfer, Sept. 16, 2016), RR 1, Varna and Sharon and Brian Pryce, Winthrop, and the great-granddaughter of Jenny Kipfer, Teresa Wynja and Naomi Pryce. She was the dear niece of Jenifer Clark (John Rudd), Jeremy Kipfer, Brad Pryce (Cindy), Brent Pryce (Catherine) and Theresa Pryce (Codey Simon). Rebecca will be fondly remembered by her cousins, Justin, Josh, Graycee, Gavin, Jaxson, Kyra, Kelsey, Naomi, Carson, Russell, Clinton, Bryce, Blake, Brock and Brody. Rebecca will also be dearly missed by her extended family, along with all who had the privilege of knowing her, including her special “sisters” Ashley, Aleshia and Emily.
Rebecca was predeceased by her great-grandparents, Cecil Kipfer, Gerrit Wynja, Harold Pryce, and Nelson and Maxine Marks.
Visitation was held at the Seaforth and District Community Centre, on Monday, Sept. 25 and Tuesday, Sept. 26. A funeral service to celebrate Rebecca’s life was held at Northside United Church, Seaforth, on Wednesday, Sept. 27 and those who attended were encouraged to wear something pink. A reception followed at the Seaforth and District Community Centre. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth.
