Olive Elizabeth Zinn

Olive Zinn of Wingham, passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. She was 102.

 

Olive was the devoted mother of Randy and Sharen Zinn and mother-in-law of Mary Lamont; the loving grandma of Chris and Wendy Zinn, Courtney Zinn and Chad Stanley and Evan and Erica Zinn and the cherished great-grandma of Ryan, Justin, Azlyn, Breanne and Logan. She was the dear sister of Kenneth Purdon and sister-in-law of Evelyn and Wallace Carson and Ella Zinn. 
Olive will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Zinn, son Larry Zinn, daughter Betty Hlavach and her husband Mike, brothers Russell Purdon, Clifford Purdon and sisters Verna McClenaghan and Rita Morrison.

 

A private funeral service took place at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated. Interment took place at Wingham Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Gilbert Hall, Wingham or the Huronlea Residents’ Council would be appreciated.
