Micheline (née Beaupré) “aka Mickey Mouse” Blache

Micheline (née Beaupré) “aka Mickey Mouse” Blache passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family on June 6, 2022. She was 89. 

 

Micheline was predeceased by Jean-Marie Blache, her husband of 66 years. Micheline will be greatly missed by her three girls: Diane (Denis Desjardins), Danielle, and Jocelyne (Ivan Garland). She was the much loved grandmother of Patrick (Marjorie), Stéphane (Kim), Sophie (Chris), Roxanne, James (Sarah), and Liam and the loving great-grandmother of Brighten, Annabelle and Blake, Alice and Gwen, Gabriel and Frederick and Laurence.

 

Micheline was a quiet woman who didn’t say much, but when she spoke people listened. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo and going to the casino, and filled the rest of her time with reading, solving crossword puzzles and completing jigsaw puzzles.

 

A private celebration of Micheline’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Monfort Hospital, Ottawa.
