Max Lisle Watts
It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce to our family and friends, the peaceful passing of Max Lisle Watts of Brussels. He entered into eternal life at Seaforth Community Hospital on Sunday, July 9, 2017, two days shy of his 81st birthday.
Max has left behind a legacy of 62 years of marriage to the love of his life, Barbara (née Benson).
Max was the loving father of Stephanie and Murray Kellington, Maxine and Murray Houston, David and Chris Watts, Trina and Brad McBride, Darrin Watts, and Ruth Ann and Kim Schroeder. He was the cherished grandpa of Jason, Joel, Brittany, Jillian, Darryl, Jennifer, Kiel, Christopher, Lucas, Hilari, Mikaela, Tanner, Benson, and RaeAnn, and great-grandpa of 14. Max was the dear brother of Stephen and Judy Watts and family, and brother-in-law of Jean MacKinnon and her family.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Max’s life will be held at the Brussels United Church on Saturday, July 15, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment will be held in Brussels Cemetery followed by a reception in the Brussels United Church Hall. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
