Mary "Jane" Fielding
Surrounded by family and friends, Jane (Bell) Fielding, 59, passed from this world to the next on Jan. 4, 2024, at the Huron Hospice.
Jane leaves behind her beloved husband of 27 years Dean Fielding, as well as cherished children Amanda (Jay), Joel (Kristina), Clara and Catherine. She will be missed by her adored granddaughter Ava, as well as her sister Laurie (Richard) Miller and nephews Wesley (Danielle), Bradley, Casey, and William.
Her passing will be felt by her wonderful friends and extended family, as well. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Edith (Roney) Bell.
Jane fought a fierce nine-month battle with anaplastic thyroid cancer and was grateful for every moment these past months. She knew it was the power of love and the prayers of so many supporters who created this miracle of extra months.
Jane graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Pharmacy in 1987 and proudly worked as a pharmacist for 36 years. She truly cared about the people she helped over the years. Jane loved time with family and friends, food, travel and being on the farm. It was a great source of peace.
Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to First Presbyterian Church in Seaforth, Huron Hospice or the London Regional Cancer Program are welcome.
Please send donation cheques to Box 340, Brussels, N0G 1H0.
