Marjorie Lucille Harkness

Mrs. Marjorie Harkness of Wingham passed away at Braemar Retirement Centre on Sunday, March 6, 2016.
Marjorie was the cherished mother of Shirley Wright, RR 3, Listowel and Jennice Davidson, Wingham and the loving grandmother of Val and Bill Bushell, Lea Anne and David Voison, Nancy and Jeff Ludington, Bill and Becky Davidson and Julie Davidson. She was the great-grandmother of Adam and Jess, Allie and Matt, Tyson, Kelsey and Jackie and the great-great-grandmother of Billie and Johnnie. Marjorie was the sister of Joyce and Don Schatte, Phyllis Bain, Ken Horton, Eleanor Campbell, Janet and Bill Dallimore and Sharon and Ron Douglas and the sister-in-law of Donna Johnston. She was predeceased by her husbands George Merkley, George Farrish and Robert Harkness, sister Florence Stapleton, brothers Walter and Cecil Horton, son-in-law Jack Wright, sister-in-law Jean Horton and brothers-in-law Bill Bain and Ron Campbell.
Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday. A private graveside service will be held in the spring at Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Wingham Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
