Marion Marie Uhler

It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Marion Marie Uhler, who passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the age of 79. 

 

Marion will be reunited with her loving husband, Ronald James Uhler, whom she was lovingly married to for 50 years before his passing in 2014. She was the cherished mother of the late Patricia (Jeff) Parnell and Jeff Uhler, both of Burlington and the dearest sister to Barbara (Jim) Fritz of Brussels and Shirley Turnbull of Stratford. 

 

Forever in the hearts of her many extended family and friends, Marion may be gone from this world, however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime. 

 

As per Marion’s wishes, and those of her family, a private cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home in Burlington on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 4-7 p.m. 

 

Private family interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. 

 

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Wellington Square United Church, the Terry Fox Foundation Ontario or the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
