Marie McCutcheon

Marie McCutcheon of Brussels, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018. She was in her 83rd year.

Beloved wife of Clarence for 62 years, Marie was the loving mom of Brenda (Dan) Keffer, Listowel; Gary (Jane) McCutcheon, Brussels and the late baby boy McCutcheon. She was the adoring nana of Brad Keffer and fiancée Brianna, Ben Keffer, Hannah McCutcheon and fiancé Ben and Luke McCutcheon. Marie will be missed by many relatives.

Marie was predeceased by parents Albert (Annie) Harris, in-laws Harvey (Florence) McCutcheon, sisters Erma (Arnold) Gadke, Maxine (Henry) Hohnstein, Jean (Redmond) MacDonald, sisters-in-law Mary (Jack) Barker, Helen (Lloyd) Wheeler and infant sister-in-law, Bette McCutcheon.

Marie was passionate about her family, her home, her church, her office work and was a member of the Majestic Women’s Institute for over 40 years.

Friends and family will be received at Riverside Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 29  from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church on Friday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m with one hour visitation prior to the service. A private family interment will be held at St. John’s Cemetery.

Everyone is invited to a reception at the Brussels Legion following the service.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Anglican Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
