Lois May (née Fitch) McCutcheon

Lois May (née Fitch) McCutcheon passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice on July 23, 2023 in her 81st year.

The beloved wife of the late Mel McCutcheon for 57 years, Lois was the loving mom of Karen and Bruce Taylor, Wayne and Kathleen McCutcheon and Steve and Holly McCutcheon.

She was the grandma of Kirkland (Victoria), Carson, Nolan and Ava, the sister of Elwood (Lynda), Sharon McClory, Arthur (Jenifer), and Kevin (Kathy) and sister-in-law of Marg (Bernell) Smith, Esther McCutcheon, Betty McCutcheon and Jeanette McCutcheon.
Lois will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, and especially missed by her furry friend Ola.

Lois was predeceased by parents Carl, Audrene and Erma Fitch, grandson Patrick, in-laws Casey, George and Barb, Bill, Lorne, Fred and Mary, Bob, Jack, Anne and Lorne Bryans, Berva and Jack Rice, Gwen McCutcheon and Rex McClory and niece Lisa Boylan. 
An informal visitation will be held at Riverside Funeral Home Brussels on Saturday, July 29 from 1-3 p.m. A private family burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery.

A celebration of Lois’s life will be held at a later date at the Brussels United Church. Please join via livestream on the funeral home’s Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brussels United Church or Jessica’s House Residential Hospice would be appreciated.
