Lois Jean McCall (née Cruikshank)

“On angel wings you were taken away, but in our hearts you will always stay.”

 

Lois Jean McCall (née Cruikshank), passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Wingham and District Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 20. She was in her 89th year.

 

Lois was the most loving and caring mother and was always there for her children. She was the beloved mom of Debbie and Paul Blake, Goderich; the late Donald (2020) and Darlene McCall, Teeswater; Julie McCall and Don Blake, Blyth and Vicki and Doug Gamble, Calgary.

 

She was the sister-in-law of Dorothy Cruikshank, Lucknow. Lois will be sadly missed by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Lois was predeceased by her parents WT Doc and Mabel Cruikshank and her brother Bud Cruikshank and special friends Isobel and Frank Burke and Stewart and Mary McCall.

 

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Oncology Unit at Wingham and District Hospital or to Huron Residential Hospice would be appreciated.
