Lois Elaine (Thomas) Cook

Lois Elaine (Thomas) Cook of Seaforth, formerly of Stratford, passed away at her home unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021. She was 73. 

 

Lois was the beloved wife of the late Ken Cook (2010) and the dear sister and sister-in-law of Mary and Hugh McCaffery, Stratford; Fran and Bill Newman, Seaforth; Raymond and Lucy Cook and Paul and Josie Cook, all of Clinton. Lois will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

 

Lois was predeceased by her parents Ron and Alma Thomas and her brother and sister-in-law Ken and Maureen Thomas. 
Lois loved watching live theatre, travelling around to various plays and on bus trips with her friend Jean. She could be found walking at the Seaforth and District Community Centre, reading a book, or enjoying a puzzle or game of cards. 

 

Keeping with Lois’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service for her family and friends was held at Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth on Friday, Aug. 20. Arrangements were entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth.
