Lloyd Laverne Heibein

Mr. Lloyd Laverne Heibein of Listowel, and formerly of Brussels passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and his dog Buddy, at his residence on Thursday, April 9, 2015. He was in his 75th year.

Lloyd was the beloved husband of the late Violet (Hill) Heibein, and the dear father of Janet and Doug Mitchell, Walton; Wendy Marks, and Jeff Heibein and Dawn Currie, all of Brussels and father-in-law of Gary and Cheryl Souch, Brussels. He was the grandfather of Rob and Tammy Mitchell, Egmondville; Mandy and Derek Dimaline, Niagara Falls; Jamie Mitchell, Walton, Tiffany Marks, and Sarah Marks, both of Brussels; Melissa and Jason Mayberry, Newry; Mathew Souch and fiancée Sally Beyersbergen, Brussels; Felicia Souch, Listowel and Laura Souch, Brussels and great-grandfather of Abigail, Aiden, Lilian, Owen, Hailey and Eden.

Lloyd is also survived by seven sisters and three brothers. He was predeceased by his daughter Sherry Souch, his son-in-law Steve Marks and his sisters Jean Fox and Gertrude Lambkin.

Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday. The funeral service was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Monday, April 13. Interment was in Brussels Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
