Lloyd Emmerson Machan

Lloyd Emmerson Machan passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022 at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton. He was in his 88th year.

 

Lloyd was the dear father of June and Harry Bakker, Cathy Machan Miller and Scott and Tammy Machan. He was loved dearly by grandchildren Mandy Machan and Mike Frowen, Jody Machan, Danny Machan, Aaron Bakker and Theresa Mesdag, Courtney Bakker and Mark Ballagh, Melissa Machan and Mike Hoggart, Tia Machan and Will Pendergraas, and Tori Machan. Lloyd was the great-grandfather of Gracie and Chancen Machan, Darien and Kiera Ballagh, Hailey Hoggart and Emma and William Pendergraas.
Lloyd was the loving brother and brother-in-law of Martina Machan, Joan and Bob Barwick, Florence Machan, Maxine and Bill Robinson, Carmen and Sandra Machan, Gail and John Currie, Dale and Ruth Machan, Gord and Jane Machan, Anne and Jack Vincent, Jim Alton, Pat and Ken Mathers and Lawrence Machan. He will be missed by the Shantz family and many nieces and nephews and their families.

 

Lloyd was predeceased by wife Marion (Shantz), son Ken Machan, son-in-law Mike Miller, siblings Joe, Barry, Doug, Shirley Wheeler, Dianne Machan and Darlene Becker, brothers-in-law Wayne Becker and George Wheeler and his parents Lawrence and Violet Machan.

 

In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private, family service will take place.

 

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation, which will be held Saturday, April 9 at Riverside Funeral Home, Blyth Chapel, from 2-4 p.m.
