Linda "Lynne" Henry

Mrs. Linda “Lynne” Henry passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2023. She was in her 73rd year.

 

Lynne was the beloved wife of John for 52 years. She was the loving mom of Devon (Janice) Henry and the late Stephanie Lea Henry (1993) and the sister of Patricia (Bill) Mills, Brockville and Faye (Peter) Taylor, Brampton. She will be missed by many extended family and friends. 

 

Lynne was predeceased by her parents Howard and Rita Leafloor. 

 

Lynne was a creative woman who loved to sew, cross-stitch and knit. She had many friends online who shared her love of sewing. She would always have a knitting project on the go and would share her expertise with others. She made many a piece of clothing or handmade presents for her kids and friends. 

 

Lynne also loved to read, whether it was novels or articles of information on her iPad. She was always learning. Lynne was a teacher for 25 years, teaching Kindergarten and French, first at Brussels Public School and then moving to North Woods Elementary School in Ethel. 

 

She loved her family, especially her sisters, with whom she kept in close contact. She wasn’t afraid of any job and always made sure that tasks were done properly. Her kind smile will be missed.

 

At Lynne’s request, cremation has taken place. Spring interment will be held at Brussels Cemetery.
