Leroy "Lee" Graeme Rintoul

Lee Rintoul of Blyth and formerly of RR 2, Lucknow, passed away at Clinton Public Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018. He was in his 77th year. 

Lee was the beloved husband of Lila (Black) Rintoul, Blyth; cherished father of Carol and Stephen MacPherson, Lucknow; Kim Higgins, Belgrave and Deb and John Smuck, Wingham and loving grandfather of Travis, Tyler and Cole MacPherson, Laura, Ashley and Shelby Higgins and Garet and Ryan Smuck. Lee was the brother of Gayle and Brad Speiran, Brussels and Brian Rintoul and Trudy Thomson, Wingham. He was the brother-in-law of Harvey and Barb Black, Belgrave; Bryan Black and Emma Shortreed, Bayfield; Barb Rintoul of RR 2, Lucknow and Lorna Black, Brandon, Manitoba. 

Lee was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Doreen (Purdon) Rintoul, brother Gary Rintoul, nephew Kevin Rintoul and brother-in-law Ken Black.

Visitation was held at the McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Feb. 13. The funeral service was held at Wingham Knights of Columbus Centre on Feb. 14. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated. Interment will take place in the spring in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.

Memorial donations to the Belgrave-Brussels Beef Club or the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
