Leonard James Palmer

Leonard Palmer, formerly of RR 5, Wingham, passed away at Derbeckers Heritage House, St. Jacobs, on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015. He was 86.

Leonard was the beloved husband of the late Elsie Jacobsen, who predeceased him in 2005 and the loving father of Christopher and Donna Palmer, RR 5, Wingham; Stephanie and Barry Charlton, Kitchener; Matthew and Allison Palmer, London and Elizabeth and Paul Drennan, Waterloo. He will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Amanda, Michael, Kristen, Luke, Zach, Ryan, Maddison, McKenzie and Corinthian. Leonard is also survived by his sister Mildred Bone. He was predeceased by his sisters Doris, Ivy, Margaret, Lily and Nora and his brother Frank.

A private family service was held at the McBurney Funeral Home Chapel, Wingham. Memorial donations to the Parkinson Society Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
