Lawrence William Plaetzer

Lawrence Plaetzer passed away peacefully at his home in Blyth with his wife by his side and surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. He was in his 88th year.

Lawrence was the beloved husband of Jean (Free) Plaetzer and loving father of Sherry Foran, Calgary, Alberta; Wanda (Brian) Holling, Markham and Larry (Linda) Plaetzer, Auburn. He was the dear grandpa of Allison, Elise, Kaleigh and Ryan, Lisa, Brooke, Jeff, James and Janette. Lawrence is also survived by his sister Lenora Sword of North Bay and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Flett.

The family received friends at the Blyth United Church on Friday, June 5. The funeral service was held at the church on Saturday. Cremation followed.
