Laura Johnston

Mrs. Laura Johnston, formerly of Belgrave, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016. She was 90.
Laura was the beloved wife of the late Mac Johnston, who predeceased her in 1951. She was the cherished mother of George and Mary Johnston, Ilderton and loving grandma of Tara and Scott Redmond and Erin and Kyle Young. Laura was great-grandma of Makayla, Alanna, Lauren and Evan and honorary grandma of Julie, Mike, Zachary, Ethan and Sarah Hobgood and Jeff and Andrea Leitch.
Laura was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mabel Yuill, brothers Bob and Clarence Yuill, sisters Myrtle Rezansoff, Helen McBurney and Mary Warwick, brother-in-law Robert Johnston and sister-in-law Lois Warwick.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Brian Hymers will officiate.
Interment will be in Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Knox United Church, Belgrave or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
