Kevin Walter "Blaster" Scott
Kevin Scott of Wingham, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022. He was 58.
Kevin was the beloved son of the late Ken and Lottie (Saunders) Scott, and the cherished brother of Beth DeBruyn and Bob Checkley, Clifford; Ila and Bill Gadke, Lakelet; John and Anne Scott, Lucknow; Karen Scott, Blyth; Pat Jenkins, Blyth; Jim Scott and Jane Van Camp, Belgrave; Bill and Jennifer Scott, Ilderton; Audrey and Lyle Bridge, Gorrie and Allan and Marilyn Scott, Lucknow.
He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families as well as by his co-workers and dear friends. Kevin was predeceased by his brothers-in-law Jerry DeBruyn and Gord Jenkins.
Kevin, or Blaster as he was better known, had the most generous and loving heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter how hard the task and he would give you the shirt off his back. Kevin was dedicated to his job, a loyal member of the Wingham Legion and a friend to anyone he came across. His grin, sweet chuckle and big heart will be missed tremendously by his family and his friends.
A come-and-go celebration of Kevin’s life was held on Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Wingham Legion. A private burial took place at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 180 in Wingham or the Belgrave Arena would be appreciated.
