Kenneth Charles Storey

Kenneth Charles Storey of St. Marys, and formerly of Winthrop and Grey Townships, born November 17, 1920 in McKillop Township, passed away on May 3, 2015 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital. He was 94.

Charlie was the son of the late John Henry and Elizabeth Anne (McLeod) Storey and the beloved husband of the late Mary Alcock, who predeceased him on May 31, 1976. He was the loving father of Ken (Anita) Storey, Wiarton; Sharon Stephenson, Brussels; Don (Anne) Storey, St. Marys; Lois (Wayne) Todd, Wingham and Doreen (Ralph) Welsh, Bayfield. Charlie was the cherished grandfather of Scott (Denise) Storey, Marcia (Brent) Wilkinson, Jenny (Scott) Sunstrum, Corrinna (Peter) Strong, Chantelle (Arnold) den Dekker, Mary Jane Storey (Ben), Stephen Todd, Lanette (Roland) Kym, Aaron, Amy and Jeremy Welsh. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother and brother-in-law of Ted (Bertha) Storey, Orville Storey, Mavis Guest and Jean Storey. Charlie was predeceased by son-in-law Fred Stephenson, grandchildren Daniel Storey, Rhonda Stephenson, Charlene Hergert, seven brothers and four sisters, and his companion Mary Pennington.

The funeral service was conducted at St. James Anglican Church on Thursday, May 7.
