John Lyons

John Lyons of Londesborough, and formerly of Hullett Township, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018. He was in his 69th year.

John was the beloved husband of Helen Lyons for 47 years and dear father of Sara and Sean Pellow, London; Tim and Ange Lyons, RR 1, Clinton and Michael and Stacey Lyons, RR 1, Londesborough.  

He was the cherished grandpa of Amye, Bayley, Malia, Hadley, Boden, Kaleb, Connor, and Blake.  John was the dear brother and brother-in-law of Mel Lyons, Lucknow; Lynda and Jeff Croskill, Listowel; Murray Lyons and friend Rose Coleman, Whitechurch; Randy and Sandy Logan, London and Judy Lyons, Wingham.  

He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Agnes Lyons, and his parents-in-law Russell and Margaret Good.  

Friends and family were received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton, on Nov. 13. The funeral service was held at the Londesborough United Church on Wednesday, Nov, 14. Rev. Randy Banks officiated. Interment was in Ball’s Cemetery, Hullett Township.

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Dialysis Unit – Alexandra Marine and General Hospital,  Goderich, Seaforth Community Hospital or the Londesborough United Church would be appreciated.
