Joanne Mill

Joanne Mill of Wingham, passed away peacefully at McCormick House in London on Saturday, Sept.17, 2022. She was 83.

 

Joanne was the devoted wife of the late Alan Mill who predeceased her in 2009 and the loving mom of Brian and Heather Mill, Owen Sound and Andrea Mill, London. She was the cherished grandma of Brian Gibson (Rhys Paterson), Drew Gibson and Connor Mill and furry granddaughter Molly. Joanne was the sister of Dan and Donna Pearce, Tilsonburg and Elaine Wright, Thunder Bay and the sister-in-law of John DeWetter. She was predeceased by her parents Edwin and Ada Pearce, parents-in-law Chester and Annie Mill, sisters-in-law Vicky Feldbusch (Heino) and Mary DeWetter and brother-in-law Canon, The Honourable John de Pencier Wright.

 

A private burial will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Wingham Cemetery followed by a celebration of Joanne’s life at the Wingham Golf and Curling Club at 1 p.m. with words of remembrance being shared at 1:30 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation Ladies Auxiliary or the Wingham United Church would be appreciated.
