Jim Steffler

Jim Steffler of Wingham, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018. He was in his 77th year. 

Jim was the beloved husband of Verna Steffler, Wingham and cherished father of Vern Steffler and Beata Kus, Wingham; Brian Steffler and Kim Smith, Wingham and Jason and Bev Steffler, London. He was the dear grandfather of Chad Steffler and Mel Hedley, Austin Steffler, Cassidy Steffler, Sam Smith and Lexie Smith and loving brother of Anne Doherty, Goderich; Clem and Phyllis Steffler, Airdrie, AB, and Joe and Lin Steffler, Seaforth. Jim was the brother-in-law of Helen and Mike MacDonald, Chesley Lake. He was predeceased by his parents Clem and Annie Steffler, brother Louie Steffler and brother-in-law John Doherty.

Visitation was held at the McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Jan. 19 with Vigil Prayers during the afternoon visitation. Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Jan. 20.  Father K.P. Morrison officiated.

Interment will take place in the spring in Wingham Cemetery.
