Jean Deans

Mrs. Jean Deans, Wingham passed away at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016. She was 96.
The former Jean Tervit was the wife of Jack Deans who predeceased her in 1971. She was the dear mother of Bill and Linda and Peter and Julie Deans, all of Wingham. Jean was the loving grandmother of Jesse, Phil, Tom and Dayna Deans and special great-grandmother of Mitchell, Blake, Tyson and Nathan. She was sister of Mary Wallace, Wingham and sister-in-law of Barbara and Jean Tervit, both of Wingham. Jean was predeceased by her brothers George and Jack Tervit.
Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on  Dec. 16. The funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel Dec. 17. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated. Interment will be at Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 180 or the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
