Huron Honour Band hosts music open house at Central Huron Secondary School

On Saturday, Clinton’s Central Huron Secondary School hosted an open house focused on music at the behest of the Huron Honour Band. The band formed in 2022 and is comprised of students from all over Huron County. The band members used the day to preach the gospel of music and administer workshops on a number of musical instruments.

 

The day concluded with a concert, featuring a number of acts, including the school’s popular jazz band, above, which got a hand from the Central Huron Phoenix mascot on bass.     (John Stephenson photo)
