Hilda May Jackson

Hilda Jackson (nee Egger) of Elmira and formerly of Clinton passed away peacefully at Chartwell Long Term Care Home in Elmira on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023. She was in her 93rd year.

 

Hilda was the beloved wife of the late James Stanley Jackson (2009) and the dear mother and mother-in-law of Doug and Donna Jackson, Fergus, Suzanne and Windsor MacDonald, Timmins, Kathy and Dave Newman, Belwood, Bill and Elaine Jackson, Kincardine and Lois Reinink, Blyth. She will be lovingly remembered by her 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Hilda was the sister of Ethel and Sam Byers, Dunnville. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Dianne and her husband Gilbert Gieb, Clinton and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Hilda was predeceased by her son Kenneth (2004), son-in-law George Reinink (2021), sister Rita and her husband Emil Strebel.

 

Friends were received at Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel in Goderich on Wednesday, Jan. 18 and on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m.

 

Following the service, family and friends were invited to the Knights of Columbus Hall, 390 Parsons Court, Goderich for a time of fellowship and refreshments.

 

Spring interment will be in Baird's Cemetery, Stanley Township.
