Helen (Smith) Wesenberg

Helen (nee Smith) Wesenberg of Seaforth, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Seaforth Community Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on April 14, 1923, Helen was in her 93rd year.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late George Wesenberg and loving mother of Larry and JoAnn Wesenberg, Stratford; Meryll Wesenberg, Seaforth; Dianne and Wayne Drake, Seaforth and Dawne Wesenberg, Stratford. Helen will be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Mary Koebel, Kitchener and brother-in-law Ron Dale, Seaforth.
Helen was predeceased by her sons Joe and Fred Wesenberg, parents Ferdinand and Wanda Smith and seven sisters and two brothers.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Brodhagen.
