Harvey Black

Harvey Black of Belgrave, passed away at Huronlea, Brussels, on Friday, April 1, 2022. He was 71 years old.

 

Harvey was the beloved husband of Barb (Cook) Black, Belgrave and the loving dad of Dianne and Chris Malskaitis, London and Darlene and Andrew McCutcheon, Brussels. He was the devoted grandpa of Alyssa and Jordan Malskaitis and Avery, Brett and Claire McCutcheon. Harvey was the dear brother and brother-in-law of Bryan Black and Emma Shortreed, Bayfield; Lila Rintoul, Blyth; Ron and Marg Cook, Cam and Mary Cook, Marvin Cook and Melanie Pletch,  all of Belgrave; Brad and Sheila Cook, Belleville and Paul and Karen Cook, Belgrave. Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Leona (White) Black, brother Ken Black, brothers-in-law Leroy Rintoul and Wayne and Doug Cook.

 

Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, April 4. The funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, April 5 To view Harvey’s funeral service, visit the McBurney Funeral Home website. Harvey’s final resting place is at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Belgrave Community Centre, the Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey Association or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
