Gwendolyne Muriel Scott

Ms. Gwendolyne Muriel Scott of Goderich, and formerly of Barrie, passed away at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022. She was 86.

 

Gwen was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Dora (Lee) Scott and the cherished sister of Patricia (Huck) Tibbles, Alberta. She was the loving aunt of John and Edward “Ted” Huck. Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her many cousins and their families and her friends.

 

Gwen was born in Sudbury on Sept. 25, 1935. She taught for 18 years at MacKillop School in Richmond Hill from 1954 until 1972. She later went on to work at Sears Canada from 1973 until her retirement in 1990. Gwen was also a long-time member of Trinity Anglican Church.

 

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.
