Grace May (née McClinchey) McCall
Grace May (née McClinchey) McCall of Lambeth, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2016 with her family by her side. She was in her 63rd year.
Grace was the loving partner and best friend of Terry Peters for many happy years. She was the beloved best friend and loving sister of George McClinchey (Nova), Mississauga; best friend, loving sister and confidant to Mary Bell (Bryan - deceased), Blyth and the cherished loving sister of Ruth Fiebelkorn (Harvey - deceased), Winnipeg and Helen Noble (Don), Belgrave. Aunt Grace will be lovingly remembered by nieces Terry Fenton and family, Cambridge; Leanne Datema (Wilfred) and family, Clinton and nephews Dean Bell (Jody) and family, Burlington and David Bell and family, Blyth.
Grace will be loved and fondly thought of by Terry’s family: mother Alma Peters, brothers Glenn Peters (Rita) and family, London and Kenneth Peters (Gloria) and family, Ingersoll. She was predeceased by her special mother Bernice McClinchey (2012), father John (1965), husband David (1998), nephew Devon Bell in infancy and dear nephew Todd Fiebelkorn (2013).
Grace and Terry had wonderful loyal support from many longtime friends, and for their kindness, we will be forever grateful. Grace formerly worked for Northern Telecom and later for Zurich/ING. Grace spent many happy hours in her flower gardens and enjoyed the hummingbirds and other visitors to her yard. Grace’s motto was, Live each day!
Thank you to the wonderful nurses and doctors of LHSC Cancer Centre, Dr. J. Younus, Dr. M. Nelham, Dr. E. Yu, Dr. K. Hamilton and the palliative team, Dr. C. Hann of the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Hamilton, Ontario and the VON nurses.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North on Thursday, June 2 from 7 - 9 p.m. and one hour pior to the funeral service on Friday, June 3 at
11 a.m. Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Grace are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program or Wellspring London Cancer Support Centre, for those who are improving their lives while living with cancer.
