Grace Jessie Gertrude (née Handy) Whitaker

Grace Jessie Gertrude (née Handy) Whitaker passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 at Ritz Lutheran Long Term Care Facility in Mitchell.

 

Grace was predeceased by her husband Gerald (1977) and son Steven (2020). She is survived by her sons Richard Whitaker (Dawn), Gerald Whitaker (Carla), her daughters Kelly Lawson, Karen Radske (Jeff), Krista Gomez and her sister Marie Bromley.

Grace was the beloved grandmother of Glendon, Jaime, Shane, Gerard, Tiffany, Tyler, Jessica, Jonathan, Crystal, David, John, Timm, Victoria, Ashleigh, Justine and Frankie.

 

The family would like to give a special thank you to Milton Dale for the love and support he gave to our mother over the years. Thank you to all the staff at Ritz Lutheran for providing exceptional care to our mother during her time there.

 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service was held at Falconer Funeral Home, Clinton, on Saturday, Feb. 13. Interment will be scheduled for a later date at Clinton Cemetery.

 

The family is asking donations of sympathy/memorial donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
