Glen Allen Carter passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2015 at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home, just five days short of his 91st birthday.
Glen is survived by his wife of 62 years,  Doreen (nee Armstrong) Carter of Seaforth. He was the loving father of Cathy (Kevan), Larry (Colleen) and Colleen. He was the grandfather of Wade (Domenica), Tonya (Brendan), Adam (Lindsey) and Nicole (Mat) and the great-grandfather of Zackary, Mia, Alexander, Carter, Brooklyn, Luca and Liam. Glen is also survived by his brother-in-law Ken Armstrong (Marlene) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Beryl Reid (Watson).
Visitation was held at the McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth on Friday, Jan. 16 from noon until the time of Glen’s funeral service. Pastor Stephen Hildebrand officiated. A reception followed at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156.
The pallbearers were Wade and Adam Broome, David and Bill Armstrong and David and Dan Reid. Spring interment will take place at Egmondville Cemetery.
