Geraldine Evelyn Dale

Geraldine Evelyn Dale of Clinton and formerly of Londesborough, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Clinton Public Hospital, on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. She was in her 84th year. 

Geraldine was the beloved wife of Lorne Dale and the late Ervin Johnston (1978) and the loving mother of Glen Johnston, Edmonton, Alberta; Linda Bedard, Clinton and Karen Garrow (Gary), Exeter. She was the cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Geraldine was the dear sister and sister-in-law of Jean Porter, Verna Edgar and Russell Fear, Gordon and Susan Byers and Linda Byers.  She was predeceased by her brothers Alvin and Kenneth Byers.  

A private family funeral service will be held at the Londesborough United Church, Londesborough.  

Cremation with interment of ashes will be held at Blyth Union Cemetery at a later date. 

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton.
