Gerald Allan Kerr

Gerald Allan Kerr passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, knowing that he was fully loved and treasured by his family. 

His family had the honour of spending his final days with him in his home. They were able to care for him, reminisce with him and hold him when he needed it most. 

Gerald will be deeply missed by his life partner and love, Donna and their fur baby Minnie. He was predeceased by his wife Annette (Dickson), his parents Carman and Dorothy, his siblings Harry Kerr, Betty Culbert and brother-in-law Don Dickson and his in-laws Mel and Helen Dickson and Carl and Kathleen Longman. 

Gerald was the cherished father of Paul (Cindy), Calvin (Angela), Mike (Jodie) and Melissa (Kyle). They will always miss his wisdom, his drive-bys and his unconditional love and support.

Gerald is survived by his siblings, Ron Kerr (Susan) and Arnold Kerr (Noreen), sister-in-law Jane Kerr and brother-in-law Bruce Culbert, as well as the Dickson and Longman families. 

“Grandpa G” will also be sorely missed by his grandchildren: Colton (Emily), Kelsey, Lorren, Alaina, Myranda (Marek), Kalin, Quaid, Samantha, Sara, Justin, Emily, Kasey, Lizzie and his great grandchild Lena and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

A celebration of life followed by a tribute was held on Thursday, Nov. 15  at the Blyth Community Centre.
