George Ives

Mr. George Ives of Blyth, passed away suddenly at Clinton Public Hospital, on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. He was in his 88th year.  

 

George was the beloved husband of Ella (Nethery) Ives and the loving father of Sharon and Laurie Cox, Judy Ives, Linda Ives and Paul Barker, Tim and Patty Ives,  Andrew Ives and Carla Messenger.  He was the cherished grandfather of Travis, Jesse and Vanessa, Luke and Bree, Siobhan and Jon-Michael, Sinead, Amy, Alma, Kaleb and Hannah, and Zachary and the great-grandfather of Clara, Noah, Caitlin, and Ben. George will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.  

 

George was predeceased by his parents Guy and Olive (Fox) Ives, four sisters and one brother.  

 

At George’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Blyth Union Cemetery at a later date.

 

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Trinity Anglican Church, Blyth would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton.
