George “Gordon” Howatt

George “Gordon” Howatt of Auburn died peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital on Oct. 19, in his 89th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Colleen Howatt, loving father of Kevin Howatt of Auburn and Keith (Shelley) Howatt of Chestermere, Alberta. 
Gordon will be especially missed by his grandchildren Michael (Bre Lukash) of Calgary, Alberta and Matthew (Cailea Slifka) of Chestermere, Alberta. 

 

Gordon is also survived by his sister-in-law Marilyn Howatt of Stratford and will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends. 

 

Gordon was predeceased by his parents Christina and Wilmer Howatt, son Kent Howatt, sister Helen (Mac) Hodgert and brothers Jim (Delores) Howatt and John Howatt. 

 

Friends were received at Falconer Funeral Homes at 153 High Street in Clinton, on Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment followed at Blyth Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
