George Edward Gill

George Edward Gill of Ethel passed away surrounded by family on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels. Born in Ethel on Jan. 2, 1936, George was in his 82nd year.

George was the beloved husband of the late Eileen Wood, who predeceased him on Dec. 29, 2010. He was the dear stepfather of Melinda Wood of Toronto, Dan and Lisa Wood of Owen Sound, and Daren and Natasha Wood of Teeswater, and the dear brother of Jean Gill and Isabel Dietrich (Gary Larson) all of Listowel. George will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Mildred.

A service of remembrance for George will take place this spring.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
