George Cousins

George Cousins of Brussels, passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Born in Newmarket on Aug. 12, 1935, George was in his 81st year.
George was the beloved husband for 46 years of Emily (Metzger) and dear father of Tim and Sarah, Cambridge; Laura, London; Lynne, Mississauga; Donald, Millbank and Patrica, Idaho. He was the dear brother of Lawrie and Pieta Cousins, London; Betty Campbell, Brussels and John and Merle Cousins, Brussels. George was also loved by his grandson Dean and his mother Angela and by his many nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his nephew Randy, his brother-in-law Ivan and parents Roy and Elma.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 at Brussels United Church followed by the celebration of George’s life at 3 p.m. Rev. Gary Clark will officiate.
Interment will take place in Brussels Cemetery at a later date.
