Frances Anne (Cardiff) Rose

Frances Anne (Cardiff) Rose of Brussels, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016. Born in Brussels on March 12, 1947, Fran was in her 70th year.
Fran was the beloved wife of the late Jim Rose (March 25, 1991) and will be sadly missed by her children Darwin Rose, Listowel and Tammy Rose and her husband Herb Govier, Blyth. Fran was the loving grandmother of Madison and Hunter Rose and Hailey Govier. Fran was predeceased by her parents Pete and Helen Cardiff, her brother Fred and his wife Marie and her sister Jean Orth.
Friends were received by the family on Friday, Sept. 9 at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels. The funeral service was conducted at St. John’s Anglican Church, Brussels on Saturday, Sept. 10. The Venerable Allan Livingstone officiated. A remembrance of Fran was given by her son Darwin.
Interment was in Brussels Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Robert Rose, Joe Taylor, Lyle Ash, Gary Orth, Sandra Ash, Herb Govier, Tammy Rose and Darwin Rose.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
