Fran (Merkley) Gerrie

Fran (Merkley) Gerrie passed away, at her residence, on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018.  She was 81.

The beloved wife of the late Murray Gerrie, who predeceased her on Dec. 12, 2017, Fran was the cherished mother of Pam and Dave Tiffin and Brad and Rachelle Gerrie, all of Wingham. Fran will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Brittany Tiffin and Jesse, Greg Tiffin, Brigitte and Justin Wagner, Alex Gerrie and Connor Gerrie. She was the dear sister of Terry and Lynda Merkley, Wingham; John and Betty Merkley, Oakville and the sister-in-law of Barbara Merkley, Guelph; Donna Moores, Bowmanville and Penny Gerrie, Toronto. 

Fran was predeceased by her parents Harry and Jean (McLean) Merkley, brother Raymond Merkley, brothers-in-law Trevor Moores, Lionel Gerrie, Gerald and Connie Gerrie and sister-in-law Marion McCallum.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, Nov. 18  from 1 - 4 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at McBurney Funeral Home.

Memorial donations to Huron County Christmas Bureau or the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
